2006 was Rembrandtyear for The Netherlands.
This enormous portrait of the old master, which measures 6 x 8 meters was compiled from
more than 3000 Rembrandt postcards. It was at display in the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. Sprookjes N.V. asked Matthew May to create an
image for the concept and to actually make it. The portrait was made in partnership with the Rijksmuseum.

3D Streetpaintings for Disney's Enchanted
For the Dutch and Belgium premiere of Enchanted Disney asked Matthew to make two Anamorphic streetpaintings. The princess seemed to appear, as in the movie, from a manhole.
Set painting 'In Bruges'
For the movie In Bruges Matthew was a set painter and stand-by painter. He helped giving, among others, the belfry set a distinghuised old sandstone look.
